FIT Points Overview
It's simple—FIT Points are earned based on the time you spent in each heart rate zone! The zone number corresponds with the number of points earned per minute. Because heart rate fluctuates during a workout, points earned can vary, even within the same zone. For example, the lower end of Zone 2 earns 2 points per minute, while the higher end can earn up to 2.9 points per minute.

Matching Zones to Goals
Think of heart rate zones as speed limits for your workouts. Each zone represents a different level of intensity based on your max heart rate, and your body responds to each differently. You can go slow and steady, or all-out and explosive, and both are useful. The key is knowing when to be in which zone based on your fitness goals. Here's a quick guide to help aim your effort:

Zone 1-2: Move and feel better
• Reduce stress • Improve recovery • Build a strong health foundation • Boost enerfy with light cardio or strength work • Burn fat efficiently without overtaxing your body

Zone 2-3: Lose Weight & Increase Stamina
• Burn fat efficiently • Build endurance • Avoide feeling overwhelmed mid-workout • Break a sweat in a sustainable, rewarding way

Zone 3-4: Faster, Stronger, or Boost Performance
• Push your physical and mental limits • Build mental control • Ideal for circuit training, HIIT, and performance • Train your body to perform under fatigue • Improve high-intensity endurance and resilience

Zone 5: Peak Performance or Power Bursts
• Used for sprints, max effort lifts, and explosive movements • Pushes your body to its absolute max • Not meant for every workout • Limited use is best for general wellness goals
