How do I sign up for a membership?
Firstly, find the Snap Fitness New Zealand club which is most convenient for you (Click Here), then you can either book an appointment, join online, or visit the club during staffed hours. Don’t forget, you’ll have access to all Snap Fitness Clubs worldwide!
What are the costs of your memberships?
Membership dues can vary by location as each Snap Fitness club is individually owned and operated. Find the club nearest you by clicking here. From there, you can inquire and view the membership pricing of your local New Zealand club.
How can I update my billing information?
All billing changes have to be done directly by your Snap Fitness home club. Find your local club and use the contact information on their webpage to get in touch, or you can pop into the club during staffed hours - they will be happy to help!
How do I find out which club is my home club?
Visit any Snap Fitness club, swipe your access card, and a team member will be able to assist with identifying which club currently manages your membership.
How do I put my membership on hold?
Life gets busy but your health and well-being doesn't need to be complicated. That's why we allow members to pause their memberships. Contact your local New Zealand club and a team member will be able to explain the process and assist you.
Why was my membership transferred to another club without notifying me?
One of the benefits of being a Snap Fitness member is that you can use any of our Snap Fitness locations worldwide - not just New Zealand! Your home club handles your membership benefits and billing, so your membership is automatically transferred to the club you are attending most often—even if it is not the club where you signed up.
How do I get a new access card?
Lost your access card? We’ve got you covered! Your local club can issue you a new card — at a fee. Please contact your club during staffed hours to set up a time organise a new card.
As a member, can I bring a friend or pay a small fee to bring a friend occasionally?
BFFs (or Best Fitness Friends as we call them!) are welcome to join you at any of our New Zealand locations - the more the merrier! However, please ask a team member at your gym about their specific policy. Additionally, for safety and insurance purposes, your guest must speak with club staff to obtain a guest pass and sign a waiver. Guests are not allowed to use a member’s access card, and members will be charged for unauthorised visitors.
How do I cancel my membership?
We hate to see you go! Cancellation rules may vary depending on your membership, specific information on cancellation can be found in your Membership Agreement. If you don’t have it handy, don't stress! You can contact your local club to cancel your membership. Feel free to call, email, or walk in during staffed hours and a team member will assist you in the cancellation process. What are the benefits of heart rate training?
Heart rate technology is a great way to track your progress and move your mood! Myzone heart rate technology allows you to track your workout in real-time and review your progress in the Myzone app. You’ll also be able to participate in Myzone challenges with your club for a chance to win prizes!
Do I need to wear my Myzone every time I work out?
You can wear your Myzone technology whenever you want to. If you are aiming to capture and celebrate all your movements, we recommend wearing your tech any time you are exercising.
