Snap Fitness enjoyed a brilliant finish to 2025 with the opening of two brand-new clubs in Winton and Wadebridge.

The two clubs were opened within weeks of each other in December; one by a brand-new franchisee and the other by an experienced husband and wife duo in our network launching their third location.

A landmark launch in Winton

Snap Fitness Winton officially opened its doors in mid-December, transforming the first floor of the former Wilko unit on Wimborne Road into a vibrant, modern gym space. The opening generated huge local interest, with hundreds of new members queuing to get inside on launch day and experience the club for themselves.

The club made Snap Fitness history by becoming the first location across the UK & Ireland to feature a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio - a standout addition that is proving a major wow-factor for members. Alongside this, the gym boasts connected cardio equipment that allows members to link fitness wearables and stream popular platforms such as Netflix and Disney+ while they work out.

Owned and managed by local franchisee Josh Glover, Snap Fitness Winton also features an infrared sauna, giving members the chance to relax and recover post-workout.

Josh has enjoyed an incredible start to life as a Snap Fitness franchisee, with the site breaking two records; the most prospective member enquiries prior to opening and the UK record for members on opening day.

A welcome addition for Wadebridge

Just weeks later, Snap Fitness Wadebridge opened on 31 December, perfectly timed to help the local community kick-start 2026. Located in a brand-new retail park in the Estuary Retail Park, the brand-new, two-floor gym spans over 11,000 sq. ft. of premium fitness space and is open around the clock.

The club is packed with top-of-the-range equipment, a dedicated recovery area complete with an infrared sauna, and a Reformer Pilates space featuring beds with built-in touchscreens, unlocking access to hundreds of on-demand workouts 24/7. Members also benefit from a mix of virtual and instructor-led classes, alongside global Snap Fitness access.

Snap Fitness Wadebridge is owned by husband-and-wife duo Gurnake and Olga Cheema, who already operate Snap Fitness Bodmin and Pontyclun. Their latest club continues their focus on creating inclusive spaces where members of all abilities feel comfortable and supported in their fitness journeys.

As momentum builds into 2026, we remain focussed on expanding our footprint and continuing to empower local communities to live healthier, happier lives. There’ll be plenty of new openings and modernising of existing facilities to come - watch this space!
