While these treats are delicious and OK to eat in moderation, you may be seeking a healthier alternative to keep on hand when the craving strikes! In general, a fruit or nut based sweet are a great option to attack the craving, but in a healthier way – like these viral raspberry-chocolate treats created by TikTok user @thefeedfeed.

This treat has racked up over 5 million views as of writing. People seem to resonate with the fact that this recipe is both sweet and tart, and has easy preparation! You can make these ahead of time and store them in your freezer so they are ready when you are!  

How do I make the viral raspberry-chocolate dessert?  

This treat is so easy to make, so as long as you have a freezer, microwave, bowls, and parchment paper, you should be able to recreate this dessert.  

Raspberry-Chocolate Dessert Ingredients

  • 1 pint of fresh raspberries

  • 1 ½ teaspoons of honey

  • 1 cup of melting chocolate disks or chocolate chips – we recommend using milk chocolate and white chocolate  

Raspberry-Chocolate Dessert Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the raspberries with a fork until they are a uniform jammy consistency

  2. Add the honey to the raspberries and mix well

  3. Using a tablespoon, drop the raspberry mix onto parchment-covered baking sheet – it should make about 6-7 pieces

  4. Put the baking sheet in the freezer for 1-2 hours, or until the raspberry disks are solid

  5. When the raspberries are frozen, melt your chocolate disks in the microwave

  6. Dip the frozen raspberry disks into the chocolate, turning them to coat – you may need to re-melt the chocolate a few times while coating

  7. Place the raspberry-chocolate disks on a parchment-covered baking sheet

  8. Freeze the treats in the freezer until the chocolate is hardened – 15 to 30 minutes

  9. If you used both milk and white chocolate for coating, drizzle on the opposite chocolate color on the top for embellishment and put back in freezer

  10. Enjoy! Store your raspberry-chocolate dessert in the freezer in an air-tight container
