Mexican Hot Chocolate Protein Smoothie
‘Tis the season to add holiday flavor to your protein smoothie! This week we’re bringing you a protein smoothie with the flavors of a Mexican Hot Chocolate. Sweet cinnamon, earthy nutmeg, and spicy cayenne combine for a flavorful drink sure to sweeten your day.
1 ½ cup low-fat milk or almond milk
1 scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder
1 tbsp unsweetened coco powder
2 shakes ground cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 pinch nutmeg
1 pinch of sea salt
1 cup ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
