Coconut Chai Coffee

Sugary coffee drinks are tempting this time of year, but all that syrup is loaded with calories and fat! But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t enjoy a fun, warm beverage this season. There are plenty of alternatives to thick, heavy syrups that are healthier but still delicious. Check out our recipe for Coconut Chai Coffee below for a quick and yummy coffee treat!

 

<h2> Ingredients:

8 oz hot coffee

1⁄4 cup canned coconut milk

2 tsp pure maple syrup

1⁄4 tsp ground cinnamon

1⁄8 tsp ground cardamom

1⁄8 tsp ground allspice

1⁄8 tsp ground ginger

1⁄8 tsp ground cloves

<h2> Directions:

- Place all of the ingredients, in the order listed, into a blender. Blend until smooth, at least 10seconds, before pouring into a mug.

- Add additional coconut milk or sweetener if desired.
