Going the distance to keep you safe
Welsh clubs are currently open. English clubs are able to reopen on Wednesday 2nd December.
Your Safety Matters
Our members health and safety is our priority. We have carefully planned our approach following the governments guidance, as well as taken extra steps to ensure we provide a safe and welcoming environment for you to enjoy staying fit, healthy and active.
We look forward to welcoming you back. It will be a joint effort in making sure everyone is kept safe.
Cleaning & Sanitation
Daily Deep Cleans
All clubs will be thoroughly cleaned at a minimum of 3 x daily, Morning, Midday and Evening. We are fully equipped and stocked with suitable products that meet the requirements of this enhanced cleaning program.
Additional Post Workout Cleans
During staffed operating hours there will be hourly cleaning of high touch points to ensure that equipment and club cleanliness is maintained
Although it is not required by the government Snap Fitness abides by the recommended guidance published by Sport England when designing its heating, cooling and ventilation systems. This means proper ventilation of second-hand air and the introduction of fresh air all into your training spaces.
We have created safe distancing zones in our key high traffic areas such as; reception, locker areas and other high frequency areas. You will find clear markings outlining recommended routes and 2m space distances to ensure that members can easily abide by the social distancing recommendations.
Where possible we have arranged equipment in a way that makes it easier to ensure social distancing is kept throughout the club either through spacing of equipment or removing use of some items.
At Snap Fitness we have always had capacity limits on the number of members a club has, because we believe that our members should have unrestricted access to equipment without crowds. As an added safety precaution we will be capping the number of members that can be in the club at a time. Clubs will now publish usage patterns on their Facebook and Instagram pages so you can pick the perfect time for you to avoid the peak periods.
We will be temporarily introducing a booking system, to avoid crowds and ensure controlled social distancing. Please contact your local club to find out more on how to book in your session.
Our Personal Trainers will continue to support our members but only on a 1 to 1 basis to ensure that social distancing can be maintained. Personal Trainers will ensure that any equipment used is cleaned prior to and after use and if requested they have appropriate PPE that can be used during sessions.
Latest government guidance restricts group fitness classes to six and is tier dependant – check out your local club booking app to see what’s running.
New Club Rules
NHS Track and Trace
It is now a legal requirement for us to install the NHS Track and Trace QR code in club, which we kindly ask you to scan and fill out your information in the fields that pop up. This will let the NHS link your attendance to our club and any other venues you’ve visited, which will allow all parties to react with speed if any issues were to arise.
Sanitise Your Hands
We have provided hand sanitising dispensers in all areas of our clubs. Please ensure that you sanitise your hands whilst you train as well as on entry and exit.
Please maintain social distance from others in the club.
Keep It Clean
We have provided even more cleaning stations around the gym, please use the antibacterial spray and wipes to clean down equipment before and after use.
We ask that you familiarise yourselves with the peak times highlighted on your clubs social page. If you want to train please book ahead on your local clubs booking system.
Keep A Lid On It
For additional precaution when using the toilets please close the lid on the toilet prior to flushing.
