HIIT Training

What is it?
HIIT is a great, safe, and effective way to workout. It involves short bursts of intense exercise alternating with low-intensity recovery periods. It can be done on a treadmill or rowing machine, in a circuit, or even through body weight exercises on the gym floor.
Why is it so popular?
It’s time efficient, giving you maximum results in minimal time. You burn more calories in HIIT training than you would do during normal cardio training, and you can do it anywhere, any time. It gets your fat burners fired up, boosts your metabolism and gets you fit, fast!
The ‘After-Burn’ Effect
One of the best things about HIIT training is that it will have you burning calories post session for up to 24 hours after you’re done – this is called the ‘after-burn’ effect. Generally, the hard you push yourself – the greater the after-burn. So get ready to get sweaty!
