Multi-Platinum Artist Encourages Healthy Habits with Fitness Challenges Via Social Media

NASHVILLE (Jan. 13, 2016) — Snap Fitness today announced Multi-Platinum selling artist Thomas Rhett will host five exclusive boot camps around the country and participate in social media challenges to further promote his I Feel Good health initiative with the fitness franchise. The hour long fitness experience will feature a certified Snap Fitness Trainer and Thomas Rhett taking the class through a personalized health and wellness session.

The five boot camps will be held in Springfield, MO on Jan. 23; Charlottesville, VA on Feb. 19; Dallas, TX on May 21; Minneapolis, MN on June 11; and Columbus, OH on June 18. Fans will have the chance to win a coveted spot at a boot camp by tuning into their local radio stations in the select markets.

“I jumped at the chance to work with Snap Fitness on this campaign. Being in good shape is a big part of being able to get on stage night after night and do what I love,” shares Thomas Rhett. “It’s cool that I get to share my interest in fitness directly with fans and give them a look into how you can make it a priority no matter your lifestyle.”

In addition to the boot camps, Rhett will participate in fitness challenges on social media throughout the campaign and encourage his followers to get active and involved along the way. Beginning today, fans can submit ideas on Twitter for Rhett’s first fan fitness challenge by tagging @SnapFitness with the hashtag #Ifeelgoodchallenge and following @ThomasRhett as he accepts one from the road. Fans can also get involved by visiting www.snapfitness.com/thomas-rhett and sharing a social media message about the program to be entered for the chance to win tickets and a trip to see Thomas Rhett on tour.

Beyond getting social, Rhett invites fans to start feeling good at Snap Fitness with a 30-day trial. Not only will the trial help fans kick-start healthy lifestyles, it will benefit a greater cause. For every 30-day trial purchased between now and June 1, Snap Fitness will donate $1 to Folds of Honor, a non-profit that helps provide educational support to the families of fallen or wounded soldiers.

“If feeling good is one of your goals for 2016, Snap Fitness is the place to start,” Chief Marketing Officer Steele Smiley said. “Our gyms have the best equipment and support for you to get fit and transform your lifestyle. CMA Nominee Thomas Rhett Aligns With Snap Fitness For 2016

10/28/2015

NASHVILLE, TN (Oct. 28, 2015) – CMA New Artist of the Year nominee Thomas Rhett will join forces with Snap Fitness, the world’s premier 24/7 fitness franchise, in 2016 for a year-long partnership brokered by FlyteVu. As the health and wellness brand’s spokesperson, the multi-Platinum selling artist will host boot camps in select tour markets throughout the year, as well as challenges on social media for fans across the country.

“Staying in shape is a crucial part of being able to put on a great live show for me,” shares Thomas Rhett. “So, when I’m on tour or have a day off at home, I try to find some time to work out everyday. It's a lot easier when you have 24/7 options like Snap Fitness where the guys in the band and Lauren all can feel comfortable. It’ll be cool to team up to include fans in that part of our daily routine on the road too.”

“We are thrilled to have Thomas Rhett on board as a brand champion,” Snap Fitness Chief Marketing Officer Steele Smiley says. “This is the first major deal with a health/fitness brand in country music. It’s a perfect fit because Thomas embodies a commitment to a healthy lifestyle in the midst of a hectic schedule — something everyone can relate to."

Thomas Rhett’s latest single “Die A Happy Man” has proven he “isn’t afraid to do things his own way” (Forbes) as fans continue to make it the top-selling digital Country song over the past three weeks. As “one of the album’s standout tracks” (Rolling Stone), the new single has cracked the Top 20 at Country radio only five weeks after release, following four consecutive No. ones.

It is his PLATINUM certified chart-topping hit “Crash & Burn” that launched his recent sophomore album TANGLED UP, solidifying why Thomas Rhett is “well on his way to becoming country music's next legendary superstar” (Glamour). Rolling Stone notes "he's discovered the artist he was always meant to be” while he continues to serve as “a standout among a crowded crop of acts” (Billboard). After initially garnering attention as a gifted songwriter with credits including hits by Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean and Lee Brice, it is his “high-energy all the way” (El Paso Times) live show that tapped Thomas Rhett to headline the CMT Tour this fall kicking off tomorrow (10/29) in New York City. Next week, he is slated to perform at the 49th Annual CMA Awards where he is also nominated for New Artist of the Year (8/7P CT on ABC).

Snap Fitness Signs Four Master Franchise Agreements In One Week

09/22/2015

24/7 Fitness Provider Expands to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Georgia

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (September 22, 2015) — Snap Fitness, the world’s premier 24/7 fitness brand, announced today that master franchise agreements were signed for four countries in one week: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Georgia.

“For any franchise, signing one master franchise agreement is a big accomplishment,” Chief Development Officer Steele Smiley said. “The fact that we signed four agreements in one week is extraordinary, and it reflects the upward trajectory of the Snap Fitness brand – especially internationally.”

This news continues the fitness provider’s current international surge. In the past nine months, Snap Fitness has signed master agreements for six countries and continues to grow rapidly across the globe, with more international news expected shortly.

“The Snap Fitness brand has experienced incredible international growth in the last year; that is the sign of a healthy business and it shows that the need for our product is more prevalent than ever,” Smiley said. “We could not be more excited to have these outstanding businessmen bring Snap Fitness to the Benelux region and Georgia.”

Han Walet and Theo Vermeeren will grow the brand in the Benelux region, backed by Gijs den Hartog on behalf of Capital Mills. The group has several years of experience owning and operating health clubs. Their first club is set to open in the Netherlands before the end of 2015.

Snap Fitness will work with three partners to develop and grow the brand in Georgia: Archil Piriashvili, Levan Diasamidze, and Zaza Pachulia. The three partners come from bank and hotel ownership backgrounds. Sports fans will recognize Pachulia – the country’s biggest basketball star. The NBA player currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks and captains the Georgian national team. Their first club is set to open before the end of 2015.

“As our brand continues to grow around the world, more and more entrepreneurs are jumping at the chance to partner with us and bring Snap Fitness to their market,” Smiley said. “They see both the brand power Snap Fitness holds and the potential they have to truly make an impact in their territory.”

Snap Fitness Donates $15,000 to Folds of Honor

09/11/2015

America’s Fitness Brand Helps Fallen Soldiers and Their Families

CHANHASSEN, Minn. (Sept. 11, 2015) — To commemorate its special “Snap Serves” summer campaign, Snap Fitness hosted a check presentation ceremony to celebrate its $15,000 donation to Folds of Honor, a foundation that provides scholarships to the families of soldiers killed or disabled in active duty.

Earlier this year, Snap Fitness pledged to donate $1 for every 30-day trial pass purchased between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Snap Fitness Founder/CEO Peter Taunton called the fitness brand’s efforts “outstanding and a strong reflection of its core values.”

“As America’s Fitness Brand, we wanted to run a special campaign that not only encouraged people to start their fitness journey, but helped those who have put their lives on the line for our country,” Taunton said.

Perry and Annie Schmidt, president and director of the Folds of Honor – Minnesota Chapter, visited the Snap Fitness Corporate Headquarters to accept the check and speak on behalf of the foundation. With this donation, Snap Fitness will provide scholarships to three military families.

“This isn’t just an accomplishment for Snap Fitness, it’s an accomplishment for the thousands of people who signed up for the 30-day trial pass this summer,” Chief Marketing Officer Steele Smiley said.
