WELCOME TO OUR CLUB

This is to introduce our newest featured member, Julie Stark.  Julie and her husband, Chris, joined Snap Fitness in August 2013 and have been very active members…even adding their sons, Christopher and Carter, to make Snap an important part of their entire family.

Julie was not new to fitness and had worked out previously at other clubs.  Her husband is also very active in fitness.  He has eagerly supported Julie in her exercise/fitness program, reinforcing the fact that having a “workout buddy” helps keep her on track.  It is interesting to note that with their busy schedules Julie and Chris are often not able to be at Snap at exactly the same time, but most often are at the club the same day…the support is always there!

About 18 months ago Julie decided to step up her efforts in order “to lose a couple of pounds and to feel better”.  Building on her past exercise experience Julie added a focus on nutrition to her program when she attended a nutrition seminar conducted by our personal trainer, Adam Schanely.  Armed with that knowledge, she started doing a better job of counting calories and improved her meal planning for the entire family.  She had always been a reader of nutrition labels; however as she began using the nutrition tracking available through My Fitness Pal she placed additional emphasis on this most important fitness element.  She also is an active user of her FitBit.

Julie understands that success comes from a good balance of cardio and weight resistance training accompanied by her emphasis on nutrition.  She is at Snap a minimum of four times per week, usually two workdays and both Saturday and Sunday. Her progress has been outstanding as she has lost over thirty (30) pounds and has achieved that  “feeling better” goal  she sought.

Snap Franchise of the year

At Snap Fitness we are all about helping our members get "results" and will give you the support you need to meet your fitness goals.  Each new membership includes a Free Score Session (this gives you a baseline to measure your future progress) and a Free Basic 8 Fitness Session (an orientation to the equipment to get you off to a great start.)  We are committed to your fitness success throughout the year, but especially getting started or re-started.

For our current members, if you have not had a "fitness score session" with one of our talented personal trainers in the past few months please speak with any staff member to schedule this important session.  This fitness score session will give each member a base line to help you increase your probability of success in achieving your goals.  Update your Fitness Score if you have not done so recently.

If you are not currently a member we encourage you to stop by the club for a tour and to accept our offer of a free trial membership to get you started.  Give us a call at 610-385-5555 to set a date and time to visit our club.

Just a reminder about our group exercise classes...

We now have Fitness On Demand available 24/7 for each of our members.  There is a wide variety of video exercise classes that a member can select depending on her or his interests and exercise goals.  Many members are using these exercise videos along with an exercise "buddy" that makes the workout both productive and fun.  We also are planning to add instructor-led group exercise classes (a small per class fee is charged to compensate the instructor) including  a  higher intensity activity, Tabata, and Boot Camps. These group exercise classes are proving popular among our members.
