Frequently Asked Questions

Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support the body’s natural cellular processes. It may help support muscle recovery, ease temporary soreness and stiffness, promote healthier-looking skin and complement an overall wellness routine.

An infrared sauna uses infrared heat to warm the body, helping promote relaxation, circulation and a deep sweat. Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of light without producing the same level of heat and is designed to support skin health, muscle recovery and overall wellbeing. While they work differently, both can complement your wellness and recovery routine.

Infrared sauna sessions are often praised for their ability to promote deep relaxation and overall wellness. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared saunas use light to generate heat, which penetrates the skin more deeply and may provide a range of potential benefits.

One of the most commonly reported advantages is improved circulation. The gentle heat can help dilate blood vessels, increasing blood flow throughout the body. This enhanced circulation may support cardiovascular health and help deliver oxygen and nutrients more efficiently to muscles and tissues.

Infrared saunas are also known for encouraging sweating at lower temperatures compared to traditional saunas. This can help the body release toxins through the skin, although the extent of detoxification is still a topic of ongoing research. Many users find that this process leaves them feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Muscle relaxation and pain relief are additional benefits often associated with infrared sauna use. The heat can help soothe sore muscles, reduce stiffness, and support recovery after physical activity. Some individuals with chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis, report temporary relief after regular sessions.

Another potential benefit is improved sleep quality. The calming effect of the heat, combined with the relaxation response it triggers, may help reduce stress and promote better rest. Regular use may also contribute to a sense of mental clarity and reduced anxiety.
