SNAP FITNESS COVID-19 Update

  

NSW LOCKDOWN
The NSW Government announced the local government areas of Greater Sydney, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, and Wollongong will be entering into a lockdown. At this stage we don't have any definitive opening dates however will update once we know more.

The following clubs will be closed until further notice:

NSW Clubs closed

REGIONAL NSW 

Face masks are now required to be worn in all indoor environments, including gyms. If exercising vigorously masks are not mandatory.

You must also check into the gym with the NSW Government QR Code.

QLD COVID UPDATE 

Earlier today the Queensland government announced the re-introduction of restrictions for clubs located in the following regions:

  • Noosa
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Ipswich
  • Logan
  • Redlands
  • Morton
  • Brisbane
  • Gold Coast
  • Scenic Rim
  • Lockyer Valley
  • Somerset

The restrictions will take effect Tuesday morning, 29th June at 1am and will initially be in place for 2 weeks.

  • Face masks are now required to be worn in all indoor environments, including gyms. If exercising vigorously masks are not mandatory.
  • Venue capacity levels are 1 person per 4 square metres.

Your health and safety will be our number one priority and in line with Government guidelines, we have recently made some changes to ensure we deliver you the cleanest safest environment to workout in. 

WHAT WE ARE DOING

Robust internal Health and Safety plan to support our team, members, and community 

Increased cleaning procedures 

Practice safe social distancing at all times

Arranged and adjusted equipment to enforce safe distancing 

Added additional self-cleaning stations 

Removed or disabled high-risk areas (for example – showers,  water coolers,  fans, and spaced out lockers)

YOUR COMMITMENT

No towel no workout! Please remember to bring a full-size towel EVERY workout

Wash and sanitise your hands regularly. Please wash your hands upon arriving to the gym and regularly throughout your workout

Use self-cleaning stations to wipe down ALL equipment after use

Be courteous of other members and practice safe social distancing

Swipe every time you visit the club to meet contact tracing requirements

Keep up to date via club social media pages and speak with the team about what is happening in your club
