     When I joined Snap Fitness my goals were to lose about 20 lbs. and get rid of my gut in which years of college drinking, eating and poor fitness habits had given me. I decided to hire a Personal Trainer because I knew that I needed the extra motivation to get the most out of my gym membership and I had no idea where to start.

I began training with Kevin in May and after 6 weeks I have lost 17 lbs. of fat, gained 4 lbs. of muscle, dropped about 7% of body fat and lost a total of 8 inches. My weight training has improved as well as my cardio, and I see muscle that I’ve never seen before—all in just 6 weeks so far!

Sticking to the diet has been a little difficult since my job keeps my from eating what I should and when I should, but Kevin has motivated my and helped me learn to eat better, work out properly and cut back on some of the habits I had prior to working out with him. I now feel better physically and emotionally! I sleep less, eat less, and have more energy all the time.

 Make Time, Not Excuses!

     My original fitness goals were to lose weight and become more active on a regular basis. Gaining more than 15 lbs. in a very short time was my main motivation for hiring a trainer, along with my love for chocolate and my own non-productive exercise habits.

     I now have more energy and make time for my workouts. I am seeing results not only in weight loss, but also a change in my eating habits. I am observant of what and how I eat, thanks to Kevin holding me accountable.

     Overall I feel better physically and my stress level has definitely decreased. Thank you Kevin!

LIFESTYLE CHANGE

       When the sight of turning 30 was around the corner, I was overweight by 90 pounds. I was overweight, unattractive, very unhealthy and uneducated fitness. At this point in my life I knew there had to make a change in lifestyle. This is when I decided to join Snap and hired a personal trainer so I could have someone to push me. After working with a trainer for a couple of months, I was not seeing the results I wanted so in mid- February I started working with Lauren, I was scared and nervous, however it was the best thing that could have ever happened it me. Not only has she become my trainer but she has become my teacher and my friend. She teaches me why I am doing what I am doing and what part of the body it is working. She explains the importance of cardio and food. My life has changed dramatically. Most importantly my daughter and I are eating healthier. Even though I have a ways to go I know I will be able to reach my goal.

Looking Forward to Future Results!

     Watching my 1 ½ year old grandson on a day to day basis made me realize I was out of shape and if I didn’t do something, I wouldn’t be able to continue and watch him. I couldn’t get motivated to workout on my own so I decided to join Snap and hire a personal trainer. My experience at Snap has been great. Everyone has been very helpful and do what they can to make you feel welcome. My trainer Lauren is great. I have been working with her since December and I can already see amazing results. Working with her has held me accountable and motivated me to make this a lifestyle, lifelong change. Lauren puts me through a great workout that is not boring because it is always changing. I couldn’t do this without Lauren helping me along the way. She is great. I wasn’t sure at first if I could make this change but after 3 ½ months of feeling this great about myself I will stay at Snap for many years to come.

Nothing is worse for a true athlete than to become overweight and sedentary. This is what happened to me when I moved to college and took on the typical lifestyle that I thought every student needed to experience. I soon gained 45lbs and was just unhealthy in every area of my life. I kept on this downward spiral until April of 2007 when I joined Snap Fitness and took Josh as my trainer. Seven weeks later I have lost 6% body fat and put on a pair of jeans I have not worn since high school. On day one I could not run five minutes and now I am running fifty. Not only is Josh changing my body, but he is changing my whole attitude about the way I handle things in my everyday life. I am starting to respect my whole self in body, spirit and mind. I trust and respect Josh as my trainer because he not only kills me in the gym two days a week with personalized workouts, but he also takes care of the emotional rollercoaster people go through while losing weight.
