Interests

After losing over 50 pounds and maintaining that weight loss through a healthy lifestyle, I became very interested in physical fitness.  I decided to put my knowledge to use and help members at the fitness center that my husband and I own and manage.  I became a certified fitness professional and now work closely with members and clients helping them to successfully achieve their goals. My special areas of interest include childhood obesity, strength and conditioning training and active older adults.  On March 27, I was a Course Marshal for the 2010 Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K in Richmond, VA. On Mother's Day, May 9th with Snap Fitness - Waldorf as a sponsor I participated in the Breast Cancer Network of Strength Walk to Empower on the Mall in Washington, DC.

Express Fitness

Looking to get in shape and feel great, but don't have a lot of time for the gym?

With the Express Fitness program from Snap Fitness, you'll achieve the results you want through personalized instruction and shorter sessions to help you get in, get motivated and get out in a flash!

Start on your own with a quick warm up. Then, your Fit Pro will take you through a strength training routine specifically developed to reach your precise fitness goals. Next you'll get your heart pumping with a specific cardio routine designed for maximum calorie burning. Finally, take a few minutes to cool down and stretch and you're on your way in less than an hour.

Most Express Fitness packages consist of two sessions per week for 12 weeks, giving you flexibility in your exercise schedule.

Fit-to-Wed

Look great for that special day! Whether you're in the white dress or a supporting role, it's important to look your best. Our Fit-to-Wed Training package allows you to work one-on-one with a Fit Pro on a specialized program to help you slim down, tone up and boost energy.

This 12-week program focuses on the areas you want to work on the most - the core, back, shoulders, thighs and glutes - along with cardio so that you'll be ready to dance the night away.

We'll teach you the basics of cardio, strength and flexibility in three 20-minute one-on-one sessions.

Boot Camp

Take your exercise in a new direction! It's personal training at an affordable group rate. This aerobic class is ideal for the beginner to expert and will give you a total-body, calorie-burning workout.

Whether you are just starting out or looking for a challenge to boost your exercise routine, this class is for you!  Achieve in a group what is hard to do alone!  Expect quick results from routines that encompass the three key areas of fitness:  cardio, strength and flexibility.

Boot camp will push you to your limits resulting in a tighter, more toned physique, less fat, fewer inches, and help you build greater self-confidence.  

Starts June 25 - Saturday sessions; 9:00 am - 9:45 am; 6 weeks (6 sessions); $75 (non-members add $25); max 6 per class

Whether your goal is to lose weight, tone up, build endurance or recover quicker from injury, partnering with a Fit Pro will help you get the most from your workouts and achieve noticeable results faster.
