I joined Snap Fitness in August 2013, weighing about 240-250 pounds and wearing size 20/22. I wanted to lose weight not for looks, but for my health.
As of March 2015, I am at 147 pounds and size 10/12. Now that I've lost all the weight, I don't plan on quitting the gym because this is my new lifestyle. I actually love working out. It's definitely a great stress reliever. At the gym, I do at least 30 minutes of cardio. I pick and choose what weight machines I want to use when I'm at the gym based on what's available.
I didn't start any kind of crazy diet. I basically watched my calorie, fat, and sugar intake. I also cut out deep fried food and sodas. I allow myself sweets and other junk foods on a limited basis so that I don't give up and binge.
Joining Snap Fitness has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. It feels amazing being more physically fit and healthy. Now my goal is to tone up my stomach and legs, in addition to maintaining a healthy weight.
