Craig Eagle - GM

General Manager.


Craig J. Eagle was born and raised in San Diego, California. He began playing competitive sports when he was seven years old. In high school, he played on the varsity baseball and basketball teams. While in high school, Craig started fitness and weight training.  In college, he had a very successful career as a pitcher on the baseball team. He was lucky enough to play professional baseball for two years. In addition, he was a high school coach for a varsity baseball team in the Oakland area and was a coach for his former alma mater, California State University of East Bay. 

Craig obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from California State University of East Bay, Hayward, CA with a major in Geography.  After college, he earned the following certificates - CPR Certified, First Aid Certified, and completed NFPT's Personal Trainer program to become a Certified Personal Trainer. 

Craig has a very motivated personality with a knack for working as hard as possible to accomplish his goals. He has always been an outdoor enthusiast. In the last five years, he has thrown himself into the world of fitness. Craig likes the different aspects fitness training has to offer from cardio to power lifting. Now he is willing to use his knowledge to teach others the proper way of training with a dose of comedy relief which will lead you to an injury free and healthy lifestyle.  

Outside of his madness for fitness training, Craig has several hobbies. He is an avid writer. He enjoys reading different philosophies on fitness training. In addition, he enjoys listening to the many different genres of music.  Most of all, teaching fitness and the game of baseball will always be the two major passions in his life.

He newly acquired the opportunity to be the strength and condition coach for the Northern Arizona University (NAU), hockey team. In addition, he has become an NFPT workshop instructor, where he teaches future new trainers in the world of fitness.

I am one of those rare Arizona natives, a desert rat, who loves to travel and experience all life has to offer.  I became a dancer in high school and took the passion with me to college.  I pursued a Dance Education degree at Arizona State University for 2 years.

I did return to college life in the midst of children and volunteer work up at Northern Arizona University and finished a four-year degree in English.  A few years later, I found myself wanting something more and earned an Elementary Teaching Certificate for the State of Arizona.

I worked as an aide for 2 years at Big Park Community School where I could apply my teaching skills and share the days with my children.

As my daughter moved on to college, I found myself being pulled back into the wonderful world of fitness.  I received my Personal Training Certificate in 2008 (AFAA), my Group Fitness Training (AFAA) in 2010 and I am currently working toward an RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 hours) through Yogafit.  I seem to be gravitating toward Senior Fitness as I have taken Senior Yoga, Silver&Fit training, and a home study Senior Fitness course through the American Fitness Aerobics Association of America.

I am privileged to work one on one with members, demonstrating how to get the most from their workouts and how to incorporate nutrition into their fitness goals.  There is no doubt that healthy eating, resistance training and cardio vascular training is the key to feeling your best and preparing yourself for each beautiful day here in spectacular Sedona!
