I was born in South Korea, moved to California when I was 12, and then moved to Colorado a few years later.  I enjoy staying healthy and fit, and love almost any type of physical activity, including dancing, hiking, walking, playing sports, and doing intense boot camp-style training.  I also enjoy reading and making jewelry. In addition to graduating from Arapahoe Community College's human performance/exercise health science program, I have a Bachelor's degree in Brain, Behavior and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I think it is fascinating to see a body move and to know how that movement affects the body. In my opinion, exercise is a type of medicine that everyone can participate in and enjoy.   

My training methods are based around the concept of “functional training”— I try to introduce exercises that incorporate multiple muscle groups and imitate the movements of everyday activities. For example, doing push-ups is a more functional exercise than just doing isolated chest presses because push-ups engage not only your chest muscles, but also your triceps, abdominals and back muscles, and train your entire body to function as a unit.

My ultimate goal as a personal trainer is to help my clients achieve their health and fitness goals while having FUN. I want my clients to exercise hard enough so they will see results quickly, but not so hard that it is unpleasant. I love it when clients tell me that they feel better after a workout. This is a type of intrinsic motivation that will keep them active and healthy. Seeing the glow of health and fitness about a person gives me great satisfaction.  I look forward to helping you achieve balance and harmony in your life!

Boot Camp 101

It takes consistency to get results. Boot Camp 101 is just the class to keep you motivated and on track.

Achieve in a group what is hard to do alone! Our certified Fitness Professional leads a small group through a twice-weekly, 12-week intense total-body workout program. Expect quick results from routines that encompass the three key areas of fitness-cardio, strength and flexibility.

Boot Camp 101 is for everybody - classes are offered at both beginner and intermediate levels.

Failure is no longer an option. With Boot Camp 101, you'll reach a higher level of fitness - fast.

All Abs

Strengthen, tone and define your midsection with this affordable, new small-group 8-week program. Focused, intense classes are just 15 minutes long and target all of the muscles in your abdominal wall so you see results faster. Sign up for two or three classes per week, whenever it fits your schedule. Cost is only $79 for two classes per week or $109 for three classes per week for 8 weeks. Intro To PT

Our Intro to Fitness package is for members who want help putting together a roadmap to better fitness but aren't ready to make a big commitment to personal training.

We'll teach you the basics of cardio, strength and flexibility through a custom-designed fitness program.
