Mission

My mission is to help people understand and unlock their blocks to fitness, as well as help them gain proper technique to achieve their goals. As a dancer I have had technique drummed into me from my early years and find that it is of utmost importance both because it keeps you safe and because the exercises are more gratifying and actually fun when you can work toward perfecting your technique. It actually gets you to your goals more quickly, too. I use a body & mind approach to help accomplish this and have a certification in hypnotherapy and a teaching credential.

Education

  • Certified as a Personal Trainer, National College of Exercise Professionals
  • BA with a major in Art, English & Physical Education
  • Former dancer, the San Diego Ballet Company.

Experience

For the past 4 years, I have taught a fitness class where I incorporate yoga, dance and a new style of exercise called T-Tapp along with weight lifting and pilates.

 
I do other personal training at a local gym that specializes in personal training.

• I have taught ballet to children and continue to take classes in jazz and hip hop styles of dance.


SNAP FitPro: Utilize free weights, machines, stability balls, etc. to help clients achieve optimal goals in minimal time and have fun doing it.

Interests

Theater, Dance, Music, Nutrition, Art (I moonlight as a graphic designer). I am passionate about good, healthy food and do like to cook it when I have time. I love languages and travel to other countries, especially Europe since I can speak a couple of the languages popular there. I will do just about anything that I consider creative and legal and not too scary. I love to work out and above all… to dance and to laugh!

TRX Suspension Training

TRX can change your body and enhance your outlook on fitness.  TRX classes will help you maximize results and expand your potential.  This system provides resistance and assistance and can easily be modified to everyone's comfort and fitness level.  TRX will strengthen your core like never before!

Butts & Guts

This class will provide you a super thorough, super effective lower body workout.

Boot Camp 101

It takes consistency to get results. Boot Camp 101 is just the class to keep you motivated and on track.

Achieve in a group what is hard to do alone! Our certified Fitness Professional leads a small group through a twice-weekly, 12-week intense total-body workout program. Expect quick results from routines that encompass the three key areas of fitness-cardio, strength and flexibility.

Boot Camp 101 is for everybody - classes are offered at both beginner and intermediate levels.
