Kim Froeschner

Kim Froeschner

Kim, Regional Club Director of Snap Fitness Orange is passionate about health education.  She believes that individuals can be empowered through knowledge.  She loves the outdoors and living an athletic lifestyle.  She believes that staying active at any age plays an important role in people’s lives.

Her interest in fitness started at a young age with competitive dance and swimming.  She has performed around the US at competitions, various sports venues, high schools and the Polynesian center in Hawaii.  From there she took her passion for exercise into the health and fitness industry.  Kim attended the University of Arizona, where she attained her Bachelors of Science degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Physiology and Anatomy.  She has experience in various physiological studies including exercise physiology, physiological testing and nutrition.  She later became a certified personal trainer through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA).

As an adult, Kim moved to Northern California, working at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in the Pulmonary Laboratory.  She enjoyed working in the medical field and gained extensive experience in pulmonary research, clinical work, maximal oxygen uptake tests (VO2Max) and exercise induced asthma testing.  Working in the hospital system has given Kim a wide-range of well-rounded experience in health.

Educating individuals with diverse backgrounds about their health and wellness inspired Kim to reach out to a greater population and to redirect her life back to Personal Training and health coaching.  From there she taught intensive outdoor boot camp classes and personal trained.

Kim was excited to join the Snap Fitness’ team as the Club Manager/Fitness Professional back in January ’08 in Santa Clara.  There she helped to develop a friendly and motivating environment where members and staff enjoy being a part of.  She moved to Southern California as the Regional Director for Snap Fitness Orange clubs and is excited to help foster a similar healthy atmosphere where members of the Snap Fitness community can reach their goals.

Kim’s certifications include, but are not limited to personal training, CPR and AED. Continuing her education in health and fitness is important to her, as there are new discoveries every day.

Kim loves the outdoors and enjoys being active in scuba diving, kayaking, salsa dancing, rollerblading, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, etc…  She is always open for a new adventure.

Kim’s goal as a fitness and health professional is to teach, encourage, and motivate others to incorporate an active and healthy lifestyle into their daily lives.  She feels that with knowledge, people can empower and challenge themselves to go to the next level.
