Dave Klinzing, Personal Trainer

Dave has been interested in health and fitness, since he was teenager. He has served as an officer with the New London Police Department for over 22 years. He helped the city start a wellness program for it’s employees and has coordinated the fitness testing of new officer candidates for several years. He also assists individual officers in starting and maintaining their own fitness programs.     Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and holds certifications from the Cooper Institute as an exercise specialist and the American College of Sports Medicine as a health and fitness instructor. He recently completed training as postural alignment specialist at Egoscue University. This specialty gives Dave the knowledge to work with clients who have postural or muscular imbalances and help them get to a state of complete functionality and become free of pain. Dave has a keen interest in nutrition and enjoys giving his clients guidance when it comes to meal planning.     Dave received his experience in personal training by working with UW-Oshkosh employees in the university’s health and fitness program. He also wrote articles for the university’s health newsletter. He did a year long internship at the Fox West YMCA in Greenville, Wi. Dave enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and has experience working with handicap individuals as well as other specialized populations. He currently works with clients at Snap Fitness and also meets with clients in their homes.     Dave enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, as well as weight training in his spare time. He has participated in the Canadian American and International Police and Fire Games. He won a bronze medal in the 2002 Toughest Competitor Alive competition in Spokane Washington. Dave lives with his wife Tammy and their two sons, Connor and Erik.

Wayne Toltzman

At the end of 2006 Wayne weighed 237pounds. He wen on a strict diet and on his 79th birthday in August he wieghed 183 pounds!! He felt better but still pretty "blah".
