Heather Hancock - General Manager

My name is Heather and I would like to welcome you to Snap Fitness. I have always been passionate about a healthy lifestyle and I am a firm believer that few things promote health like a gym environment. I have been committed to a regular workout routine for the past 20 years. With all of the great equipment that we have here at Snap, the possibilities for ideal physical condition are endless and I never get bored with my workouts. Our staff is always coming up with new and creative ways to keep our members motivated and excited about physical fitness. I love seeing the transformations of our new members as they reach their fitness goals. Being employed at a place that embodies all of my healthy ideals makes work fun!

Caitlin Haslag

My name is Caitlin Haslag and I’m excited to be a new member of the Snap Fitness team in New Bern! My husband and I moved to North Carolina in 2011; however, we are originally from Missouri. I graduated from the University of Missouri in 2010 with bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Psychology. In my free time I enjoy hiking, crafting, reading, and riding my bike. Currently I am pursuing my certification in personal training and I look forward to helping our clients reach their fitness goals!

Ashley Fish

My name is Ashley Fish but that will be changing later this year when I get married!!!  I was born and raised in Central Florida but I feel that I am transitioning to life in North Carolina rather easily. Snap Fitness is helping to ease that transition because it allows me to be surrounded by people who share the same passion for health and fitness as I do. While attending the University of Central Florida to pursue my degree in Biology, I discovered my enthusiasm for working out. I went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic and received a Doctorate of Chiropractic last June. Spreading the philosophies of wellness that are centered around sound mind, body and spirit are of my main missions in life. In order to further advocate these principles I have recently become a certified personal trainer through the American Sports and Fitness Association. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully becoming a positive influence in your quest towards achieving your wellness goals! 

Lenny

Lenny has been a member since July of 2010 and had lost 38 lbs. Congratulations Lenny. We are so proud of you and all of your hard work.

Mary

Mary has been a member since we opened.  Mary always has a positive attitude and works hard each day that she is here. She has completed the Atlas Challenge twice. The second time it took her less than a month! Wow! Looks like she could be good competition for some of the guys!

Heather

Heather has lost 63 lbs. and has gone from a size 13 to a size 3! Way to go Heather!

Dianne

Thanks to regular exercise here at Snap, Dianne was able to return 2 1/2 weeks after having hip surgery. Her fast recovery time is attributed to her great attitude and all of the hard work she did in the gym prior to the surgery. What an inspiration!

Recently Snap Fitness of New Bern was able to help a great cause by sponsoring a hole at a charity golf tournament in Morehead City hosted by The Military Order of the Purple Heart Down East Chapter 639. We also had a member, Lenny, participate in the tournament. Lenny is on our wall of success stories in the gym. The purpose of the tournament was to raise funds for scholarships that are given in memory of Col. Marvel. Marvel was career Marine Corps pilot who was shot down over North Vietnam and spent seven years as a prisoner of war. He was a resident of Carteret County and believed in helping young students who demonstrated exceptional qualities.

Congratulations to Larry! He just finished our Atlas 1 million pound challenge for the 2nd time. Way to go Larry!

Christian Desmarais

Christian just finished the Atlas Challenge for the 2nd time! Way to go!

Chantal

Chantal Just completed the Atlas Challenge! Chantal lost .2% body fat and a whole point of visceral fat from doing the challenge! Way to go Chantal!

Kathy

Kathy has just finished the Atlas Challenge for the 4th time. That is 4 million lbs.! Wow, way to go Kathy.
