Matt Letten (Owner)

At the age of 21 I was 5'9" around 255 pounds, and extremely lazy and unambitious. I ate whatever, whenever, and had no real goals in life.  I decided I had enough.  I started out by cutting out pop and fast food. I then asked a friend of mine to show me the ropes in the University fitness center. After just 2 weeks in the gym I had started to drop some weight, and had developed a habit of hitting the gym 5 to 6 days a week. Less than a year later, with an entirely transformed diet, and exercise routine, I basically turned my life around. I dropped about 80 pounds, had increased energy, and a thirst for living life to its fullest.

When I started my journey, I wrote down a goal of 60 pounds of weight loss. It was the first real goal I had ever reached in life, after consciously setting a bar. My background and degree are in Business and Finance. I had always dreamed of owning my own business. With this turning point in my life, and experiencing how Physical Fitness CHANGED my life, I set off with the intent to help others do the same. That brings us to today.

As the owner of Snap Fitness in Howell, I also manage the club on a day to day basis. I want you to know that I am here to help you. For some of you, I have been in your shoes. Intimidation factors go out the window at Snap. We are a friendly health club, where the average person, of any age and fitness level, can come in and get an amazing work out. State of the line equipment, and personal trainers to help you reach your goals.
