Having a dream is one thing, actually following through with it can be the difficult part.  Since my teenage years, I knew I wanted to open a gym one day.  I’ve always been a sports junkie and enjoy the health and wellness industry, so owning a gym always seemed like a perfect way for me to do something I was passionate about, and it would give me the ability to own a small business.  It wasn’t until after a trip I had the privilege of going on back in December with some guys in the nutritional supplement industry that I had the extra push to really get serious about this whole gym idea.   

After some months of research, my wife Leigh, and I decided to take a chance and give Snap Fitness a try.  We really liked the fact that Snap Fitness has a very fined tuned model that has been successful in a variety of markets all across the US and parts of Canada over the last few years.  Given the requirements to open Snap Fitness, it fit perfectly into what I was looking for.     Flash forward a few more months, and my dream is now a reality!  I’m very blessed and still can’t believe it’s mine sometimes.  I feel strongly about training with a purpose, having a goal in mind, so I take a personal interest in each and every member that we have in the club.  I encourage you to swing by the club and we can chat about all that Snap Fitness can offer you!   

Brad Segal

Brad Segal, music teacher at KIPP Houston High School, had a goal in mind when he went searching for a fitness club: improve his fitness levels and bring down his elevated blood pressure.

One day after a tour at a competitor club, he stopped by Fioza (where he plays bass every Thursday night in a jazz band) and felt the brand new bright red Cybex equipment drawing him in next door at Snap Fitness. Clean machines and friendly staff sealed the deal, and now Brad can’t stay away!

He alternates between getting his blood pumping with cardio one day and sculpting his ever growing muscles with strength training the next. Brad is proof that the Snap Fitness program works: he has lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and lowered his blood pressure by 40 points.  His doctor was shocked. Go Brad!

Ronald Burton

Ronald Burton, 29 year old Processing Supervisor, became the second member to join the club and was excited to start working out as soon as possible.  Ronald’s primary goal is to lose 25 pounds, and he has shown his level of commitment by rarely missing a day at the gym!  Ronald has been spotted sweating at Snap early in the morning and sometimes late at night, dancing to his music while he pushes himself on the Cybex Arc Trainer cardio machine.  He is already a third of the way to reaching his goal after only 2 weeks of training!

When asked what brought him to Snap, Ronald responded with, “I decided to become a member of Snap, because of the amazing staff dedication to the member reaching their goal, convenience and the personal atmosphere feeling”.

Snap provides not only a great place to work out but a supportive staff to answer any and all questions with a smile.  Ronald is also scheduled to begin Personal Training sessions with Troy and will absolutely reach his goal of 25 lbs weight loss!

Bill Fink

Bill Fink has been with Snap since the beginning. He’s a busy man, with an insurance executive job and a wonderful family. He comes in to work out every night right on time, always with a smile on his face on the way out.  

He loves working out on the industry-best Cybex equipment and has seen significant results. Bill trained with Troy for quite a while, and learned how to effectively exercise and eat right to reach his goals. You don’t need to be in the gym for three hours a day to look great, get in and get it done if you want, or hang around and learn from our expert trainers and friendly staff. 

Working out at Snap is like having your own personal gym- we all know your name and really do want you to reach your goals, whatever they may be.  Great job Bill!
