Mike Baran
I’m 26 years old and a recent graduate of Central Michigan University, with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Management. I currently live in Haslett and work as a merchandiser for Dan Henry Distributing. I chose Snap Fitness of Haslett because I wanted a place to work out close by where I could go anytime of the day. Their 8-Week Weight Loss Challenge was a great idea and motivated me more to go and work out. Even though I was trying to lose weight on my own by dieting, I wanted to lose even more and learn how to keep it off. The reason I chose to work with a personal trainer was because my motivation was very low, so by getting a personal trainer I was forced to go to the gym, and work out. I also wanted to learn the right way to do certain exercises to keep the weight off. My goal when I first started to work out was to reach 220lbs; my starting weight was over 300lbs. With the help of my personal trainer, Justin, I was able to reach that goal as the summer started. I’m now at 213 lbs and my new goal is 190… I believe that I can reach that by the end of the summer with Justin’s help. I have achieved the results that I was looking for, and I will continue working out and eating right.
