Since she began coming to the gym to rehab her knee, Brigid is one of Snap Fitness Easthampton’s most consistent members.She builds her workouts into her afternoon schedule, and like clockwork, she comes in 4-5 afternoons per week.
Brigid had been an avid runner and dancer for years, and she joined Snap Fitness in March 2013 after an operation a few months earlier for a total knee replacement.
“When I joined the gym I was at the point that I was feeling totally out of shape and deconditioned. I gained at least 15lb when I stopped running. I would to get out of breath just from vacuuming!”
Through a combination of the bike and treadmill, Brigid experienced a steady decrease in pain by keeping her keep her knee active. She gained mobility in her joints, and after a few months began some sessions with a personal trainer. She now continues to workout on her own on a variety of equipment, including the treadmill.
“My tension and migraines have decreased significantly, I have so much more energy and I feel like I have my life back! Snap Fitness is a great facility, with great people, at a reasonable price."
