Betsy Wood

I am a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE (American Council on Exercise) with over 3 years experience and furthering education in Kickboxing, Group Strength Training, Traditional Aerobics and Step Training, Pre & Post Natal Exercise with CPR/AED and First Aid Certified.  I have also taught Boot Camp classes for 3 years and love it! My goal is to develop the right workout and nutritional plan to obtain the goals of my client so that they can improve their life.

As a Certified Personal Trainer I specialize in weight loss programs, nutritional counseling and custom workout plans for all ages and body types.  I feel that fitness is the cornerstone to overall health and wellness and that getting fit is the first step to a new and healthy lifestyle.  As your trainer, I will take your health and wellness personally, working alongside you to help you acheive ALL of your fitness goals.  Wtih your determination and commitment and my dedication and passion for helping people achieve personal success, there is so much that can be accomplished.  I will work closely with you to inspire, motivate, and support you to reach your goals, and along the way have some fun too!  I'll get you to believe so that you can achieve!

I love working out, playing softball and tennis, hiking, reading, cross country skiing and watching movies.  My favorite TV show is Biggest Loser and my TV crush is Bob Harper!

I have participated in the Relay for Life for the past 13 years and in 2009 co-founded a breast cancer awareness 5k walk/run with my sister.  Having lost our mother in 1994 to breast cancer I realize the importance of advocating for early detection.  In 2010 my step-mother was diagnosed with the disease and now I lend my support and love in her journey to recovery.
