Andres Calderon
Andres has been a part of the Snap Fitness family since November of 2009. He moved to the Seattle area in mid-2008 from the hot deserts of Arizona, but has learned to enjoy the Northwest including the wet weather.
When Andres came to Eastgate Snap Fitness, he immediately loved the atmosphere and energy of the club and enjoys getting to know the members. "It feels great to manage a gym that feels like a part of the community and the chance to be a part of improving our members' lives through fitness."

Robert Vail
Robert Is a retired sales rep from Washington Corp. He is married to the Beautiful Miss Marigail, and they have 3 grandchildren.
Robert is wonderful cook, and loves to work in the garden. He also loves to take boat rides in the san Juans!
Robert likes all the equipment in the gym, and tries to work out 3 times a week.
Robert has been a member of Snap Fitness since Jan. 2008 with the goal of reshaping his body by losing body fat and weight.
Robert has made very good progress toward his goal, but still working on it! In Roberts on words,
“Kudos to my trainer, Mr. Mehdi Ansari who refuses to allow me any sort of comfort zone”.

Judy Stone-Goldman
I am a retired faculty member from the department of speech and hearing science at the University of Washington, where I taught for 25 years. I currently maintain a small speech therapy consulting practice.
I like write nonfiction and reflective writing, and my current focus is to expand this hobby into a new business.
My favorite piece of equipment is the arc trainer for cardio and the pull down for weights. I try to make it 7 days week for the discipline and routine.
For the past 3 year I have not been very active in the gym due to sickness, surgeries, and injuries. I tried weight training at another and only injured myself again. I am now able to do weights 3 times a week, and have been training with Diane DeFuria on a weekly basis. Being able to accomplish these workouts is a great success for me!
My fitness goal is to be able to improve all aspects of fitness, and regain my health, strength and endurance.
What I love most about Snap Fitness is the location. It is close to my home and has easy access from the parking lot, also the equipment is of great quality. Most importantly though is the friendly atmosphere, the great staff, and the warm support offered to everyone.

Ryan Rahlfs
April 2009 Member of the month!!
Ryan has lived in Bellevue all is life, and works as a high school "history/government" teacher in the Bellevue school district.
Ryan has been a member of Snap Fitness since Dec 2008 and has lost 20 pounds! He works out 6 days a week and has a goal to loose 20 more pounds. He has 2 favorite pieces of equipment. The Arc trainer, and the Assisted Pull-up.
He has done the “big Climb” 2 years in a row, and has beat last years time by 7 minutes!
In his spare time he likes to workout, play basketball, watch movies and tv, and read historical biographies.
What does Ryan like most about Snap Fitness? The Staff and trainers! We are glad we make your workouts enjoyable Ryan! And good luck on loosing those last pounds!
Jeffrey Welch
March 2009 Member of the month Jeffrey Welch has been a member since we opened our doors in Jan of 2008! Jeffrey is married with 2 grown children, and 2 grandchildren. He delivers produce for a local company. When he is not working or working out he enjoys working in the yard and garden, and after his “honey do” list is done he likes to go camping and hiking! (Better keep on your chores Jeff!) Jeffrey is a regular with us here at Snap fitness. We get the pleasure of his company about 6 days a week. Since October of 2008 he has set a goal to lose 40 pounds. He is only 3 pounds away from reaching that goal! Way to go! He is hoping to stay healthier and more fit, and what better time to test your strength than “girl scout cookie season”! Don’t worry Jeffrey we here at Snap Fitness have faith in you, and keep up the good work!
Carl and Ingeborg Nims - December member of the month!
Member Since: January 2008
Successes: work out 4 – 5 times per week. Carl has lost 7% body fat while maintaining current weight and Ingeborg has lost about 5% body fat and about 10 pounds so far!!
Who they are: Carl is retired from Boeing and Ingeborg is currently Director of Business Administration for Blackrock Health Management, a medical imaging company. Carl enjoys crossword puzzles, hiking, looking after grandchildren, working in yard, home and traveling. Carl sings in church choir and German Arion chorus. Ingeborg enjoys cooking, looking after grandchildren, working on home and garden, and traveling.
What they like most about Snap: Close to home, cleanliness, availability of staff for questions, amount of equipment to work with, affordability.
Marigail Vail
Marigail has been a Snap member since January 2008. She is self employed and works out of her home. She has 3 wonderful grown children and 1 wonderful granddaughter. When she's not working (or working at out at Snap), she enjoys boating in the San Juans.
Marigail works out at Snap three times a week, and has lost 9 lbs. and 1 ½ “ around the waist, and is still losing inches! More importantly, she's also lowered her blood pressure and cholesterol. Her favorite peice of equipment- the Cybex Arc Trainer- may have something to do with it :)
When asked what she liked most about Snap, Marigail replied, "Snap Fitness is so convenient and friendly. I think Snap is excellent for 'non gymers' like me."
