Our personal trainers are willing to customize a program for you and your friends to accomplish whatever it is you wish to achieve. Not only will they design an in-depth and professional program for your group, they will also lead you through the workout as many times a week you desire.

Introduction to Core Training
Core training is resistance training with an emphasis on the core stabilizer muscles – upper and lower abdomens, oblique’s, and lower back. Virtually every movement in your daily life requires the use of core muscles. From common household chores (like carrying groceries and yard work) to more physically demanding tasks (like lifting large boxes), a strong and toned core can make these tasks safer and easier. Like other forms of resistance training you can expect increased strength and density of muscles and bones, increased metabolism, and reduced soreness in hips, back, and neck.
Description: The Introduction to Core Training is a resistance training program focused specifically on strengthening and toning the core muscles – upper and lower abdomens, oblique’s, and lower back. This 12-week program is designed to introduce Snap Fitness members to many different core training exercises using a variety of exercise equipment including dumbbells, free weights, weight machines, medicine balls, stability balls, and resistance bands. Each class will consist of 10-12 exercises across the four major core muscle groups.
Program length: 4 weeks When: Starts November 23rd, 2009 Days: (A) Monday, Wednesday, Friday (B) Tuesday, Thursday Time(s): 6:30 AM or 6:30 PM Session length: 30 minutes Cost: Session A - $84 ($7 per session) Session B - $56 ($7 per session) Limit 5 people per session – first come, first served!
Introduction to Flexibility
Did you know it’s important to stretch your muscles and joints before AND after a workout? It’s true! During exercise, your muscles and joints undergo stresses that lead to stiffness and soreness. A proper stretching routine can help reduce this soreness and protect your muscles and joints from future damage. In addition, a consistent stretching routine can improve overall flexibility making everyday tasks (like walking, climbing stairs, etc.) easier and more enjoyable.
Description: The Introduction to Flexibility is a low impact training program focused specifically on improving flexibility in all major joints and spinal column. This 12-week program is designed to introduce Snap Fitness members to many different stretching exercises using a variety of equipment including stability balls, resistance bands, and foam roll. Each class will consist of 15-20 exercises across all major joints and spinal column.

Introduction to Resistance Training
Resistance training has many benefits. It increases density and strength of bones and muscles. It increases metabolism causing your body to burn more calories throughout the day – even long after your workout is over. That means you lose body fat faster and can maintain your weight easier. Last but not least – it improves posture which can help reduce soreness in your hips, back, and neck.
Description: The Introduction to Resistance Training is designed to introduce Snap Fitness members to many different resistance training exercises across all major muscle groups; upper body, lower body, and core. You will learn to safely use a wide variety of exercise equipment including dumbbells, free weights, weight machines, medicine balls, stability balls, and resistance bands. Each class will consist of 6-8 exercises across all major muscle groups.
