Hi there! My name is Becca and I recently became part of the Snap
Family. The concepts at Snap are second to none because they work.
The trainers actually care about you acheiving your goals and can
really motivate you to work hard. As I creep into my thirties I am
finding that it is not quite as easy to stay fit and having an outlet
like Snap to go where I feel comfortable and have guidance in making
good fitness decisions definitely helps. I like to think that WE are
all in this together so I hope that if you need a buddy you let
me know! In addition to my desires of living a healthy and active
lifestyle, I have a background in ballroom dance instruction, love
crafts, hooping, rollerskating and traveling. And please don't hold
it against me, BUT I am a die-hard Cubs fan! I look forward to
sharing the fitness adventure with you!

Hello! My name is Cassie and I am a team member for both the Shawnee and Basehor Snap Fitness locations. I am a lifelong Basehor resident and Kansas State University graduate. I am truly excited about the fitness options Snap is providing Basehor and Tonganoxie residents!
I really enjoy working out at Snap as well. I have found it to be a very friendly, clean and comfortable environment with no waits for equipment.
In my spare time I love to spend time with friends and family, play softball and watch our local sports teams.

After the birth of my first child, I had about 80 pounds to lose. I had never worked out before, so I had no idea where to start. Over the course of 18 months, the weight came off, but I still had no clue what I was doing in the gym. To make matters worse, I felt like a little fish in a big pond at the club I belonged to.
So, I hired a trainer, and I started making progress quickly, but I still couldn’t justify the time I spent with the large gym experience into my schedule. I still felt like I just didn’t belong. There had to be an easier way.
That’s when Matt saw a Snap Fitness franchise during a business trip. He called me from the club, and at that moment, we got excited about bringing the concept to Shawnee. I knew if I was feeling that way, someone else was probably struggling too.
After 3 years in Shawnee we knew we were ready to expand and are excited to bring Snap Fitness 24-7 to Basehor.

Hi! My name is Matt. When I graduated from college and got into the corporate world my weight sky rocketed from 160 to 210. I knew I needed to make some changes, but it was tough to find a good place to work out because I travel quite a bit with my full time job. I started eating better, taking Advocare supplements and tapped into the reciprocity that Snap Fitness offers.
I love the fact that I can find a Snap Fitness pretty much everywhere my job takes me. I can continue my training even when I’m on the road. The facilities are very convenient, and consistent with what my home club has, so I don’t have to re-learn the machinery from club to club. It’s a nice way to feel somewhat close to home even though I can’t always be there.
I love working at Snap Fitness because I am surrounded by people with the same interests and goals that I have, getting in shape! It motivates me to see so many other people setting and achieving their goals.
When Jen and I aren’t spending time at home with the kids, we enjoy relaxing, going to the lake, and taking time away with my two brothers, and traveling to the nearest beach…because I got back down to 160 pounds!

Hi, my name is Tina Johnson and I have been a part of Snap Fitness for over a year. As a newlywed, I have already found that finding time to work out is tough! I have just recently got back into a routine and enjoy taking just an hour out of my day just for me. Luckily, I've been able to bring my Sister-In-Law along for the ride! The personal trainers put us both into a program that we enjoy and have helped to keep each other accountable. I'm excited to show others what I have accomplished in just a few short months.

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am excited to be a part of the Snap Fitness team. Since high school I have worked out off and on but never have done anything consistent. Prior to that the only thing I have ever done to stay in shape was play sports in high school. Due to my lack of motivation I hired my trainer Matt. He makes sure to keep me in check and is helping me to reach my goals. He also helps me to figure out a good time to work out during my busy schedule. In addition to all the fun at Snap, I love being outside, traveling, playing sports, and spending time with my family and dogs!

My name is Bobbi and I am a 38 year old mother of three. I joined Snap Fitness a year and a half ago wanting to lose weight and tone up, and recently began working at Snap. I had tried for years to lose weight on my own but realized I was losing and gain the same 15 pounds and had been for years. Snap and my trainer Julie helped me break the cycle and get serious about my health and fitness. I lost fourty pounds and plan to lose more. I love to cook and I am learning how to make my recipes healthier and still taste great. I started running when I joined Snap and was able to complete two 10 K's last year. This year, with the help of my trainer I will do a half marathon.

When I first went to the gym, I didn't know how to exercise. Earnest started with the basics, and we have slowly moved up. Every work-out is customized to me and where I am at that day. When I hit my first plateau, I was very discouraged, but with Earnest's help, we "stepped it up", and he completely overhauled how I ate and we increased the intensity of my workouts. There were days that I would not have made it without his encouragement. I know that any time I hit the gym, Earnest will be around to help me keep it up. My first goal was to lose 80lbs in a year - I made that in 10 months, and have since decided that another 10 is not out of reach!

I was a college athlete and knew I was capable of getting into shape! But after having a baby, I really just became overwhelmed, knowing that I needed to lose a good 50-60 pounds! I lost 30 pounds on my own by running and working out at my own pace, but hit a brick wall at that 30 pound mark. Exercising on my own was frustrating and slow, so after I started working at Snap Fitness I began utilizing ALL the great trainers I had right at my fingertips! Wow, what a difference! That extra push, motivation, knowledge and experience of ALL the trainers at Snap have helped me lose another 30 pounds. I have finally learned how to work out my entire body and how to incorporate nutrition into my lifestyle and for that I am so thankful!

It's hard to find pictures of me by myself and fat. I pretty much have deleted all the bad fat pictures of me, or was hiding behind someone. That was then…..
The key to my success - Persistence. Just not giving up. My trainer has helped so much with that. She knows what I want and won’t give up. I have lost 43 pounds and it has taken a year and a half. I have about 30 more pounds to lose. I workout 5-7 days a week and watch my nutrition and portion sizes. Julie has helped me to make better choices in what I eat. I eat a ton of vegetables compared to what I used to. I have finally realized that I have to make time to exercise almost everyday. Thank goodness for Snap! (I recently joined the sales team, too!) It is so convenient for me that I have actually learned to love working out. I am in better shape today than I have been in many years.
