Mission

My decision to become a personal trainer has evolved from many years of being a fitness enthusiast.  I believe that with hard work and commitment a person can do anything they set their mind to.  As a mother of three children, I personally understand the commitment it takes to put yourself first when it comes to your personal well-being.  I also understand the struggle of losing weight, keeping weight off and changing and improving your body composition.  This can be a daunting task, but with enthusiasm, the right attitude and professional guidance you can achieve your goals.  The time to change your life is NOW!!

 

Whether you are a new mom struggling to lose weight, a bride-to-be looking to get into shape for your big day, or someone nervously anticipating beginning a fitness routine for the first time, I will work with you to create a fitness program designed specifically with you in mind.  We will target weight loss through a strong cardio workout and shaping those “hard to train” areas like abdominals, hips and thighs through resistance and flexibility training.  This personalized program will enhance not only your physical appearance but will significantly improve your health, your quality of life and your confidence.

Education

I am a certified personal trainer through World International Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) accredited through Raritan Valley College.  I have experience in aerobic instruction, weight training, and developing personal fitness programs.  I am qualified to work with all levels of exercisers from experienced athletes to less experienced novices.  I particularly enjoy introducing new exercisers to the benefits of physical fitness.

Interests

Along with exercise and personal training, I enjoy running in 5K races, playing tennis and hiking with my family.  Another of my favorite pastimes is enjoying my favorite foods and good wine with NO guilt.
