I am excited to be the owner of the two clubs in Escondido and Vista.  We have had many people join and work toward their fitness goals in a convenient and non-competitive environment.  My best moments at Snap Fitness are when a member shares with me there success, for example, "I lost 35 pounds!" or "my asthma is so much better since I started to workout."  I hope you join our neighborhood 24 hour club, where every member is important to us.

My husband and I have owned the Vista club, as well as the Escondido, since 2007. When we decided to start our own business, one thing we definitely agreed on was the desire to make a positive impact--for the communities we serve and ourselves. Opening a fitness club fulfilled this goal. After being a teacher for 18 years, what I enjoy most is working with our team and getting to know the needs of our members. On a personal note, I know what coaching from personal trainers can do as I have taken the advice of our trainers and lost over 25 pounds. Megan Machamer, Member Services

Megan came to us with experience at a woman's only gym.  She greets every member with energy and listens to their successes and stories.  She has had her own success over the year since joining our team.  She lost 40 pounds, several dress sizes, and improved her body fat percentage to an ideal level.  She has gained a great deal of knowledge this year working with trainers and taking the Butts and Guts classes.  She may even be ready to start teaching some classes of her own!

Karye

Why is Snap the right fit for you? Karye was a member of another bigger gym, so she knows what she likes.  The first thing she mentioned is the equipment. Not only is it newer and nicer….it is also kept cleaner.  Karye also feels comfortable here, because of how friendly people are. Another great thing for someone like Karye who balances college classes and a professional job is that she can do more of a workout in a shorter amount of time. She always feels like she can get the workout she needs.

What results have you reached? Karye really wanted a change and that kept her focused. She was unhappy with herself.  Being over 200lbs kept her from enjoying the world around her including the beach-- it had been over six years since she went to the ocean.  During her weight loss journey, she found herself and found how much fun life can be.  And an added bonus now she can wear whatever she wants. Now, she has maintained a healthy weight for well over a year. Today her body fat percentage is that of a competitive athlete with excellent body composition and she has improved her Fit Score 11 points in the last year and a half. We can all change, we just have to believe in ourselves. What would you like to change in your life?

Why is Snap the right fit for you? Dan likes that all the equipment is in one place. After being at a big box gym where he had to go to different levels just to use all the equipment he wanted, he likes the convenient layout of Snap.  He also appreciates that he can always get on the equipment—no waiting here, which is not like his previous gym experience.  He also appreciates how friendly the other members are.  All of which means he is able to get IN and OUT for a quick workout.

What results have you reached? Dan has seen a great deal of success and has worked to change his lifestyle to keep these changes in place.  Since starting his weight lose journey, Dan has lost over 70 lbs and even more exciting, he has lost 13 percentage points off his body fat readings.
